The MPA is an organizations formed by minority residents in
2001.The following are our goals and mission.
Mission Statement: Provide an arena for networking, career and professional development, and support for underrepresented minority physicians in the CHOP community.
Goals:
 | Build a coalition among underrepresented minority physicians at CHOP |
| Foster mentor relationships between attendings and resident physicians |
| Share information on research interests and projects |
| Guide underrepresented minority physicians with their professional development and career advancement |
| Improve retention of underrepresented minority physicians at CHOP |
| Network with pediatricians of color in the Greater Philadelphia area |
